The Earth Manifesto: Saving Nature with Engaged Ecology was written to help. It takes the reader step by step through the six laws of Engaged Ecology, a journey from theory to practice. We cover the Three Big Ideas, and then the Three Big Steps of getting involved. By the end, it is hoped, readers will feel inspired and empowered to “groundtruth” a part of the Earth that means something, and use that experience to join others in defending our planet.

It’s part of the Manifesto Series from Rocky Mountain Books, a cool package perfect for our frenetic times. The books are small enough to be easily transportable or shared but with hard covers that can take abuse whether it’s from bike pannier scrunches or truncheon knocks. And they’re thin enough to read in a couple of fervid hours.
